The past year of 2009 was characterized by the world-wide economic turmoil which led to drastic breakdown of incoming orders and resulting cost reduction in companies. Due to investment in latest technological development and the increase of its global sales network Leifeld, however, strengthened its pole position as market and technological leader in spinning, flow forming and necking-in. Apart from a stable development of turnover over the year, Leifeld is proud of increased incoming orders in the fourth quarter of 2009, arising especially from the European and Asian market.
